Counter Threat Coalition Advisor, Senior Manager

Key Role:
Advise senior leaders of a foreign government entity in the successful stand up a multilateral coalition against counter threats. Display expertise in coalition formation, coalition operations, and engagement with coalition partners. Analyze the development of processes and procedures for managing interactions with coalition representatives effectively, including establishing collaborative staff procedures that enable effective coalition participation in planning and ensuring the action-oriented nature of operations. Advise on the formation and legal constructs of coalitions, support the onboarding of coalition delegations, devise and manage engagement programs for coalition delegations, and support negotiations with coalition members on specific initiatives. Advise on priorities for engaging and developing value propositions for new coalition members or strategic partners, including other nations or international organizations that enhance overall effectiveness. Support other activities to advance coalition formation and formalization, as warranted.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years experience at the command level of military organizations
-5+ years of experience with a multinational or country-led coalition, including coalition forums and comprehension of coalition constructs and operational dynamics
-5+ years of experience with foreign affairs or international relations
-3+ years of experience with working in a coalition or multinational forum
-Experience with operating in MENA and its regional issues and challenges

-Ability to travel across the MENA region
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in International Relations, Foreign Affairs, or National Security Policy


Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to speak Arabic a plus
-Ability to conduct management consulting, including onsite client interaction preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills
-MA or MS degree in a related field
