Criminal Justice Research Analyst

Key Role:

Design and develop criminal justice logic models, performance measures, and criminal justice data collection programs. Analyze criminal justice performance measures and other justice data. Communicate criminal justice research and analytical findings to a variety of audiences both orally and in writing. Guide and assist clients with a wide range of management, organizational, and business improvement and modernization initiatives by applying continuous process improvement strategies, methodologies, and principles. Develop business methods for problem-solving, process change, and solutions implementation that ensure enterprise-wide integration. Identify criminal justice best practices, assess performance measurement, and research, collect, and verify data and translate it into strategic and operational guidance. Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and other forms of knowledge transfer.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and performance measurement

-Experience with working in the justice area

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and SharePoint

-Knowledge of federal requirements, at all levels, for the measurement of program effectiveness and justice programs

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of SPSS and SAS preferred

-BA or BS degree in Social Science research or other related subject area preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
