Critical Infrastructure Protection Analyst

Key Role:

Provide expertise in emergency management, contingency planning, and continuity of operation engagements for complex situations. Identify, assess, prioritize, and offer recommendations for improving protection of critical assets and supporting infrastructure critical to execute global Marine Corps missions and tasks. Use the Marine Corps Critical Asset Management System (MC-CAMS) and coordinate with headquarters, regional, and all installation stakeholders to provide proper assessments of critical infrastructure risk analysis and recommended solutions. Contribute to the continued development of security infrastructure policies, documents, and campaign plans to support mission objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in emergency management, critical infrastructure protection, mission assurance, and security protocols, including implementing program, assessments, policy development, and facility planning and management

-Knowledge of local, state, and federal emergency preparedness rules, regulations, and activities, including guidelines issued by DHS, FEMA, EPA, OSHA, and directives, such as Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPDs) related to emergency preparedness, infrastructure protection, and physical security at a level sufficient to manage the area-wide implementation of complex emergency preparedness policies, programs, and procedures

-Ability to work within and manage asset management systems, manipulate and develop sophisticated spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, and prepare information and findings for distribution across the Marine Corps enterprise

-Ability to coordinate with geographically dispersed stakeholders, build consensus, and work independently to manage program elements with minimal client direction

-Ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely to a wide variety of emergency management audiences ranging from installation personnel to senior military leadership

-Ability to obtain a security clearance required

-BA or BS degree in Emergency Management, Crisis Management or MA or MS degree in Emergency Management, or Crisis Management

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Marine Corps or other military critical infrastructure protection programs preferred

-Knowledge of and experience with the Marine Corps Critical Asset Management System (MC-CAMS) preferred

-Ability to represent the Emergency Management program manager and participate in department and service-level meetings

-Ability to connect with emergency management working groups and integrated process teams to ensure Marine Corps interests are communicated
