Cyber and Infrastructure Engineer

Key Role:

Design, engineer, integrate, implement, test, deploy, maintain, review and administer the infrastructure, hardware and software that are required to effectively manage the security and risk posture of the network and resources. Develop system concepts and apply the systems engineering life cycle to translate strategic cyber objectives, technology and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Plan and conduct engineering activities using Microsoft technologies, including server-side engineering, operating systems, group policy, and security hardening. Draft technical documentation and comprehend existing technical manuals, security guidelines, and design and operational documents. Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach and organize the means to achieve solutions for complex technical problems. Provide hands–on support to servers in the client engineering lab and in production providing Tier III Engineering support. Interface with government and contract engineers required in the support of client engineering projects, including provide guidance and direction to junior network support technicians.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Microsoft

-Ability to be a self-starter to create productivity in the client environment

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD 8570 IA Baseline IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Server 2012 and 2016, SQL, and VMware preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills

-Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE) preferred
