Cyber Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Project Manager

Key Role:
Serve as a project manager on one or more mid- to large-scale projects supporting various agencies, including the DHS, OPM, VA, DOI, USDOT/FAA, DOE, and USDA, ranging in scope from covering Cyber solution development to tool and ODC procurements, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Assessment and Authorization (A&A), integration, deployment, testing, O&M, training, and governance. Oversee and lead all aspects of the project’s response development and project execution and analyze, organize, and monitor the project, including working on project schedules in Microsoft Project, staffing, cost, scope, and performance in accordance with the requirements, as needed. Lead day-to-day task management of the project directly within a cross-functional tea, maintain responsibility for the quality control and configuration management of all work performed, ensure all deliverables meet requirements of the contract and are delivered on time, elevate risks early, and communicate status of the project to stakeholders. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, manage and report the status of all project management and technical activities, and work with personnel ranging from senior leadership to highly specialized engineers. Participate and lead client engagements, including strategic analysis, planning, and execution of solutions and interface directly with the client in the execution of duties, as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with supporting Cyber, IT, software, or procurement programs
-4+ years of experience with managing technical, Cyber, IT, software, or procurement programs
-Experience with cost plus, T&M, or cost reimbursable contract types
-Experience with creating or managing schedules using Microsoft Project
-Experience with managing or mentoring staff
-Ability to operate effectively in a high pressure, high-tempo, dynamic environment
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with reviewing resumes and hiring
-Experience with subcontractor management
-Experience with the DHS System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) process
-Knowledge of CMMI best practices or similar methodologies for continuous improvement
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including articulating and presenting information to all levels of management and staff in a comprehensible manner
-Active DHS Suitability clearance preferred
-BA or BS degree in a technical or management field preferred; MBA degree a plus
-Security+ or CISSP Certification
-Agile Certification
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
