Cyber Financial Intelligence Analyst

Key Role:

Evaluate and analyze Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) reporting to generate original, insightful, and accurate intelligence products on key issues, typologies, and trends in Cyber-enabled financial crime using digital and virtual currencies. Assist senior and mid-level government officials, including law enforcement investigators, regulators, or policy makers. Work on reports regarding Cyber-enabled crime methods and trends, including technical methods and money laundering techniques, Cyber target development, including the identification of Cyber-enabled crime networks actors and techniques that may represent a Cyber threat to systemically-important financial institutions and associated infrastructure, and the exploitation of emerging payment technologies, including virtual currencies for criminal use or threat actor financing.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cyber intelligence, Cyber investigations, or virtual currency investigation

-Experience with virtual currencies, applications, and use in financial networks and blockchain analysis

-Experience with drafting analytic products and briefs and conducting independent research

-Experience with open source research and analysis

-Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources

-Experience with reviewing, identifying, and assessing the tools, techniques, and procedures associated with Cyber crime activities linked to finance and banking

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

-Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations, data, intelligence, and law enforcement databases

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Ability to construct and apply statistical models to structured data sets

-CAMS, CFE, or CFCS Certification
