Job Description

Job Number: R0056657

Cyber ForeScout Engineer

The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering skills to design and build secure systems for NASA? We’re looking for a Cyber engineer who can help create solutions for NASA that will stand up to even the most advanced Cyber threats.

As a Cyber solutions engineer on our project, you will work with a highly skilled team focused on implementing and operating next generation network security solutions for government clients. Hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of leading security Cyber defense tools and technologies will be performed to apply in-depth defense strategies in large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritize response actions, and develop effective counter-measures. Thought leadership must be applied in a highly collaborative and innovative work environment to solve complex security challenges. You’ll work with NASA clients to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll research new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going.

This is a chance to learn from a team of experts as you make a difference in the security of NASA networks and systems. We help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. You’ll be able to gain experience in latest techniques used for network discovery and end point detection. Join our team as we improve the protection of NASA information and systems through Cybersecurity.

Empower change with us.
