Cyber Threat Analyst

Key Role:

Perform all source intelligence analysis and subject matter expertise within the Joint Cyber Center Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) branch. Research, analyze, and produce intelligence products and tippers independently and collaboratively on world-wide Cyber threat occurrences and trends that may affect Blue Force networks in the EUCOM Theater. Develop reports on intrusions and events that occurred in the EUCOM Theater to provide timely information in a serialized manner to various Cyber communities. Present and defend analytic positions and produce intelligence assessments with minimal supervision. Perform coordination and integration in conjunction with USCYBERCOM, Components, DoD, USG Interagency, intelligence community, and the EC/J2 Directorate to support senior leader decision making. Review and provide intelligence-related input to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, strategic operational analysis reports, strategic and operational policy reports, DoD directives and guidance, and other documentation supporting strategic operations research and policy analysis. Review and comprehend advanced persistent threat actor TTPs and malware capabilities and implications to a victim network to brief non-technical leadership, support operational planning teams, and provide plans support to Cyber protection teams executing in theater. 

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with strategic and operational intelligence analysis

-3+ years of experience with interagency planning and operations

-Experience with complex problem-solving and using relevant methodologies

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8570 Level II Compliant Certification

-All-Source Intelligence advanced course or training in any branch of military

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting USEUCOM or CCMD

-Experience with Joint targeting and coursework

-Experience with network analysis and coursework

-MA or MS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
