Cyber Intelligence Analyst, Lead

Key Role:

Serve as an all-source Cyber analyst, and report writer on a team that provides cutting-edge, innovative, and human-vetted finished intelligence products, including high-quality papers, briefings, recommendations, and findings for senior-level commercial decision-makers. Develop and hold technical, industry-level, and regional expertise on Cyber network operations and emerging Cyber threats and trends. Create daily written finished intelligence analysis for client and marketing publication on threat actor motivations, capabilities, and intentions, pertaining to attacks affecting multiple industries. Focus on reporting technical indicators of compromise, trend analysis of Cyber activity, and evolution and exploitation of technology. Monitor open-source information feeds, and threat actor activity to identify relevant Cyber events potentially affecting our clients. This position may require the ability to travel up to 10% of the time and is located in McLean, VA.

Basic Qualifications

-Experience with newspaper-style and blog reporting on current events, particularly with an emphasis on Cyber

-Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources for the purposes of documenting results, including and analyzing findings to provide meaningful products

-Experience with Cyber, computer network operations and exploitation, information operations or information warfare, or topical Cyber expertise

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Ability to develop specific expertise, discern patterns of complex threat actor behavior, and communicate comprehension of current and developing Cyber threats

-Ability to leverage online research tools to identify and navigate online forums, specialized Web sites, including social media, and traditional sources

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with computer and network security concepts

-Experience with targeting or all source intelligence analysis

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills in a professional consulting environment

-BA or BS degree in Information Security, Computer Science, International Relations, Security Studies, Cybersecurity preferred; MA or MS degree in Information Security, CS, International Relations, Security Studies, Cybersecurity a plus

-Security certifications a plus
