Cyber Investigation Analyst

Key Role:

Perform a prioritized assessment of the data to identify the most critical and reliable data to identify bitcoins, locations, accounts, services, travels, e-mail addresses, IP addresses, and other pattern of life data to determine physical attribution of an Internet identity. Use cyber intelligence tools and software tools to actively search and mine the publicly available Internet, the darknet, and deep Web to support law enforcement. Leverage knowledge of the methods used by Cyber criminals to hide themselves on the Internet, how Cyber criminals conduct online business, and what are the various market places and forums the Cyber criminals operate within. Create intelligence and investigative reports which represent the steps taken, the data sources reviewed, and the conclusions drawn from the evaluation of the Internet information.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience as a Cyber threat analyst

-Experience with identifying and evaluating open source intelligence

-Experience with using technology solutions to actively search, analyze, and prioritize the various market places and Cyber criminals to identify high value targets

-Knowledge of the cultural, linguistic, and behavioral aspects of threat actor capabilities and intent

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the law enforcement or intelligence community (IC) 

-Knowledge of threat intelligence tradecraft, including structured analytic, contrarian, and imaginative analytic techniques

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

-MA or MS degree in CS or Computer Engineering

-Network+ Certification

-Security+ Certification

-Certified Intelligence Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

-Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification
