Cyber Operations Planner, Senior

Key Role:
Provide direct support to meet combatant command (CCMD) strategic and operational level objectives. Coordinate with JFHQ-C AFCYBER, JFHQ-DoDIN, and other CYBERCOM components, as required. Analyze deliberate planning processes through coordination with CCMD rhythms. Coordinate, synchronize, and integrate Cyberspace operations and deconflict planning efforts to maximize tactical and operations effectiveness. Analyze offensive Cyber operations with respect to the CCMD. Support mission analysis, course of action (COA) development, analysis, and approval, and analyze the development of commanders’ estimates and campaign plans to support orders development and various Cyberspace options for consideration and execution. Ensure tactical execution aligns with operational guidance.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with operational and technical military planning, including analyzing the development, coordination, and execution of United States Air Force (USAF) or other Services’ participation in Command, Service, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and CMMD operations, exercises, demonstrations, and experiments
-5+ years of experience with working as part of an AFCYBER or sister service component crew
-Experience with using Measures of Performances (MOPs) to evaluate task performance at all levels and using Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) to determine the progress of operations toward achieving objectives
-Knowledge of Cyber operations, including AFCYBER capabilities or limitations
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
-DoDI 8570 Level II Certification, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with developing and deploying data driven analytics and event-driven analysis
-Experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC), Operations Center (OC), or other service component operational level
-Experience with working as a staff member at the Numbered Air Force level or above
-Knowledge of Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), or Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
