Cyber Readiness Analyst and Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Provide Cybersecurity services, including Cybersecurity vulnerability scanning, patching, analysis, and remediation, documentation and reporting of Cyber vulnerabilities per platform. Support customer system installation at sites and remediation on identified Cyber issues, remotely support sites to re-mediate Cyber issues, including developing Cyber baseline descriptions for each site. Participate in the design, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, review, and administration of the infrastructure, hardware, and software that are required to effectively manage the security and risk posture of the network and resources. Assist with developing system concepts, applying the systems engineering life cycle to translate strategic Cyber objectives, technology and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Assist with selecting and applying processes and methodologies to meet Cyber performance objectives, including assisting and analyzing trends and emerging technology for potential program modernization. Configure Cyber systems to meet user requirements, and supporting the acquisition of hardware and software as needed.


Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with standard Cyber vulnerability assessment and security tools, including WSUS, ACAS, Retina, Security Center, and ePO

-7+ years of experience with VMware, Cisco networking or switching devices, and Hyper-V

-7+ years of experience with networks architecture, databases, TCP/IP, VLANs, Cyber vulnerability remediation, and Cyber risk analysis

-Ability to research Cyber vulnerabilities and issues, develop and present solutions, and train clients on how to remediate

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Security+ Certification or IAT Level II Certification or ability to obtain a Security+, IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire


Additional Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Navy and DoD Cyber vulnerability assessment and security tools, including VRAM, eMASS, SAILOR, HBSS, and ePO on afloat and ashore networks

-3+ years of experience with CANES and ISNS architecture, including ISE, PKI, vCenter, GPOs, Certificates, Blade Servers, TACLANES, and VMware ESX 3.x, 4.x, and 5.x

-3+ years of experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and Security Readiness Guidelines (SRG)

-1+ years of experience with CCRI process and scoring

-Experience with the U.S Navy Afloat and Ashore systems

-Ability to produce high quality reports and recommendations for clients

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in an IT, Cyber, or Engineering field preferred; MA or MS degree in an IT, Cyber, or Engineering field a plus

-IAT or IAM Level II and III Certifications, including CISSP, MTA Windows Certification,

-CANES, ISNS, CISCO, including virtualization training, VMware or Hyper-V
