Cyber Strategist and Risk Chief Technologist

Key Role:
Serve as a senior Cyber strategist and general management consulting leader in the Cyber strategy horizontal, charged with identifying, developing, and overseeing client projects in key commercial accounts across multiple industry verticals. Develop new business opportunities and lead proposals and marketing campaigns. Lead and mentor consulting staff on functional expertise, client relationship management, and the delivery of high–quality products for client consumption. Apply consulting expertise and toolkits to frame client issues, use critical thinking, analyze client problems, and propose sound and defensible solutions. Work with internal and cross–firm functional and technical teams to leverage the necessary expertise and apply to client environments. Apply a broad range of general management consulting techniques, including strategic planning, financial analysis, product planning, risk management, organizational effectiveness, and supply chain efficiency. Synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets and exhibit expertise in client facilitation.

Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience with defining, establishing, and leading business development and client delivery with private sector clients in a fast–paced environment

-5+ years of experience with general management consulting service delivery in a consulting or internal role, including defining a strategy, establishing client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions

-Experience with Cybersecurity strategy solutions and security principles, approaches, and technologies

-Experience with developing and implementing successful market strategies, business development and leading proposals, and intellectual capital creation

-Experience with developing and mentoring staff at all levels on functional expertise, consulting tradecraft, and client relationship management

-Ability to identify and lead the capture of specific opportunities and build a business around Cyber strategy across various industries

-Ability to maintain client relationships at the senior levels within the market, strategically engage with vertical leaders, and gain significant traction among key stakeholders

-Ability to quickly ascertain existing Booz Allen methodologies and intellectual capital to customize for client situation, develop approach to drive work efforts, and frame potential deliverables

-MA or MS degree

 Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with leading complex Cybersecurity capability design and implementation projects for Fortune 500 clients, including the implementation of new people, processes, and technologies for threat prevention, detection, and response

-Experience in multiple market verticals, including financial services, public, healthcare and pharmaceuticals

-Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise

-Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment

-Possession of excellent client facilitation skills
