Cyber Systems Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Lead staff in the design, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, review, and administration of infrastructure, hardware, and software that are required to effectively manage the security and risk posture of the network and resources. Develop system concepts and apply advanced knowledge of the systems engineering life cycle to translate strategic Cyber objectives, technology, and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Lead the analysis of trends and emerging technologies for potential program modernization. Provide leadership and mentoring for junior employees and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creative. Act as a leader on large programs and projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. 

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with systems engineering and project management

-Experience with working on software development projects, including end-to-end life cycle and test engineering or QA

-Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of IT resources, including Windows, Linux, VMware, and network software products

-Experience with O/S languages and language packs and Cybersecurity products, including anti-virus and endpoint security variants and methods

-Experience with database formats, queries, structures, and schema

-Knowledge of operating systems at the administrative or kernel level

-Knowledge of firmware or embedded systems, networking protocols, routing, and firewalls

-Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and exploits

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the intelligence community mission, vision, goals, and values

-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
