Cyber Systems Engineer

Key Role:

Provide SETA and programmatic support for the client. Provide Cybersecurity engineering services in support of the client mission and provide systems engineering and project management support. Apply systems engineering expertise in requirements analysis and allocation, architecture analysis and design, technology assessment, and metrics development. Provide operational support, including tool testing in an operational environment and coordinating and resolving issues with vendors and other appropriate personnel. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques for the investigation and resolution of complex project requirements and technical specifications for software development projects. Plan and direct full life cycle projects or major phases of projects for highly visible technical solution programs.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with systems engineering and project management

-Experience with working on software development projects, including end-to-end life cycle and test engineering or QA

-Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of IT resources, including Windows, Linux, VMware, and network software products

-Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and exploits

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BS degree or 4 years of experience with technical IT in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with O/S languages and language packs and Cybersecurity products, including anti-virus and endpoint security variants and methods

-Experience with database formats, queries, structures, and schema

-Knowledge of the intelligence community mission, vision, goals, and values

-Knowledge of operating systems at the administrative or kernel level

-Knowledge of firmware or embedded systems, networking protocols, routing, and firewalls

-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills

Clearance:
