Cyber Technical Project Engineer

Key Role:
Work as a Cyber technical project engineer, focusing on enterprise IT or operational technology (OT) Industrial Control System (ICS) environments and collaborating with clients' engineering teams to help build defensible networks, systems, and applications. Leverage oral and written communication expertise to translate and articulate technical detail across all levels of the business. Act as an expert in IT systems and enterprise architecture, including working closely with clients as a part of an integrated team to undertake, drive, and coordinate complex projects. Consult with the client and coordinate with IT operations, the PMO, IT or OT engineering, and OT operations to determine security requirements, establish and communicate common goals and direction for the team, act as a resource for direction by the client, monitor project schedules, and report any concerns to the project team. Implement secure design for integrated enterprise IT systems and OT systems that are part of ICS environments, serve as part of an integrated team of engineers and Cybersecurity experts in the firm's expanding Industrial Control System (ICS) and OT Cybersecurity team, and maintain responsibility for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for clients and their environments. This position requires the ability to travel to various facilities to perform onsite assessment activities, including physical security walks, observations, technical configuration reviews, and personnel interviews.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with large-scale commercial enterprise systems
-Experience with configuring enterprise grade systems
-Experience with configuring enterprise controls
-Experience with performing log analysis of communications between systems and subnets
-Experience with using and interpreting outputs from tools that include Wireshark
-Knowledge of Windows, Linux, or UNIX, including event logging
-Knowledge of networking protocols and system integration
-Ability to design and build an enterprise log collection infrastructure
-BA or BS degree or 6+ years of experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools and techniques
