Cyber Vulnerability Operations Analyst

Key Role:

Work with a team focused on implementing and operating next generation security solutions for government clients. Apply thought leadership to solve complex security challenges in a highly collaborative and innovative work environment. Monitor, analyze, detect, and respond to Cyber events and vulnerabilities within information systems and networks. Support an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational effects, including vulnerability remediation and incident identification and investigation. Maintain a secure Cyber environment through configuration management, administration, and response actions. Operate and maintain security toolsets to support organizations’ continuous monitoring.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with IT in a professional work environment

-Experience with IBM BigFix compliance and inventory configuration and operations

-Experience with Jamf Pro or Casper Suite configuration and operations

-Experience with systems and security administration in Windows, Linux, MAC, or VMware environments, including performing basic troubleshooting, installation, or configuration, monitoring system performance or availability, and performing security upgrades

-Knowledge of security tool administration and OS or application hardening, including STIG implementation

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting government healthcare agencies, including the National Institutes of Health

-Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems

-Ability to support leading Cyber defense tools and technologies and apply in-depth defense strategies in large and complex networks to identify vulnerabilities and threats rapidly, prioritize response actions, and develop effective countermeasures

-BA or BS degree
