Cybersecurity Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide Cybersecurity assessment support for a Navy Cyber policy and assessment team. Support the development and enhancement of the Navy client’s Cybersecurity posture and ensure technical compliance with DoD, NIST, DON, and SPAWAR specific policies. Conduct technical security compliance reviews of systems in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 Rev 4 and the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG). Assist with the vulnerability assessment of Cybersecurity functions and systems and provide recommendations for remediation or enhancements to existing capabilities and the development, implementation, and execution of new capabilities in areas that are deemed necessary by the government to meet compliance or improve operational security.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

-1+ years of experience with performing Cybersecurity testing using both manual and automated processes

-1+ years of experience as a systems administrator, including Windows work

-1+ years of experience with installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting applications

-Ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a schedule

-Ability to work as part of a team in a fast–paced client environment

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering or Science

-DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with EventTracker, Tripwire, ACAS/Tenable Security Center, and HBSS/MacAfee EPO

-Experience with writing regular expressions

-Experience with Solaris Basic Security Module (BSM) events

-Experience with Oracle Database audit events

-Experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

-Experience with Microsoft SQL

-Experience with log parsers

-Experience with managing system baselines

-Ability to provide consultation and innovative solutions to clients regarding Cybersecurity efforts
