Cybersecurity Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide support to clients on Cybersecurity initiatives pertaining to the US electric utility industry. Provide technical, analytical, engineering, management, and information technology advisory services on complex problems associated with maintaining and securing the nation's transmission and distribution grids. Provide advice and recommendations on the direction, implementation, and management of electric and grid Cybersecurity activities under the relevant federal and departmental regulations and policies. Advise on Cyber risks and utility infrastructure impacts of issues that may affect the reliability of the grid or national security. Collaborate with industry, government agencies, state agencies, utilities, and other key parties regarding grid Cybersecurity infrastructure vulnerabilities, risks, opportunities, and threats. Develop and recommend options for program improvements, performance measures, planning strategies, and reporting requirements. Plan and conduct special studies, research, and quick response to requests on energy-related Cybersecurity issues.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with working as a Cybersecurity analyst in the energy industry

-Experience with programs related to grid reliability, Cybersecurity, and electrical systems
-Experience with the analysis or design of Cybersecurity solutions for electric utilities or power generation facilities
-Experience with working on complex projects independently or on teams of larger projects involving engineering and analytical studies
-Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with electricity transmission and distribution systems, renewable energy, or distributed generation
-Experience with consulting for industry or government clients

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree in Engineering or a related field
