Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Evaluate system operational design, system integration, and hardware configurations in accordance with applicable Intelligence Community (IC), Fleet Cyber Command (FCC), Department of the Navy (DON), and Department of Defense (DoD) standards and policies. Analyze requirements and manage projects and tasks associated with security engineering, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Information System Security Manager (ISSM), and other security-related issues. Provide Cybersecurity/Information Assurance (CS/IA) technical support in the execution of DoD Instruction 8510.01, Risk Management Framework for Information Technology, and other current CS/IA policy. Provide technical support for A&A procedures and policies, including processing of accreditation packages. Provide IA support to the security documents required for the successful completion of A&A efforts, including doctrinal recommendations and technical policy management support for decision makers. Provide CS/IA technical integration to ensure proper authorization of sites, systems, and applications. Provide technical support to FCC to address the challenges endemic to the successful implementation and operation of the client's networks and to research and assess future operational intelligence concepts, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and architecture development efforts.


Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience as a Fully Qualified Navy Validator (FQNV) or similar qualification
-5+ years of experience in working with the Operational Designated Accrediting Authority (ODAA) or Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) business processes, including with the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of specific processes for ONI collateral systems
-5+ years of experience with DoD, Naval Network Warfare Command (NNWC), Fleet Cyber Command (FCC), DoD Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS), and IC tools, systems, and reporting mechanisms and requirements for A&A

-5+ years of experience in A&A with DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program (DIACAP), Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, or National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) Information Assurance framework, including Special Publication 800-series
-Experience in project management, establishing, and managing A&A teams, including adapting industry, and DoD and IC standards to create A&A best practices
-Experience in DoD, IC, and national-level system security initiatives and secure information and local area network or wide area network technologies.
-Ability to lead teams of technical people efficiently and effectively in a dynamic environment
-Ability to effectively present technical information to various audiences from highly technical to high level decision makers with no technical background in both oral and written formats

-TS/SCI clearance

-DoD 8570.01-M compliant industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Information System Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) and Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)


Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to exercise client relations and team building expertise
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in IT, IA, or related field

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
