Cybersecurity Audit and Compliance Lead

Key Role:

Serve as a lead Cybersecurity compliance specialist for a government client and help continue to evolve the use of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) in the client's enterprise. Lead others in sustaining current security policies, processes, and procedures. Use NIST and FedRAMP doctrine to sustain various baselines, standards, policies, procedures, and other business tools that tailor NIST controls and processes for use by the client's various business units. Assess impacts, orchestrate updates and changes in the client's enterprise, and provide expert advice on how to most effectively address the evolving RMF as NIST and other doctrine sources update their bodies of knowledge. Improve overall security practices by raising general information security awareness and best security practices.


Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with FISMA-related audits and compliance
-3+ years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in applying and implementing NIST SP 800 series and OMB guidance
-Experience with analyzing security policies, processes, and procedures in the federal government
-Experience with analyzing new security laws, policies, or standards to determine program-level impact
-Experience with responding to external audits and developing remediation plans
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with client service and delivery
-Ability to multi-task and deliver quality work on time
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
