Cybersecurity/Communications Security Analyst, Senior

]Key Role:

Serve as a subject matter expert in Cybersecurity to a senior DoD client with a focus on cryptographic modernization efforts and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI). Develop, review, and coordinate cryptography policies and guidance at the DoD and CNSS levels. Develop, analyze, and review replacement or transition strategies for unsupportable and technologically obsolete cryptographic equipment. Build and iterate on supporting technical documentation to provide cryptographic implementation guidance to DoD components. Review existing and planned implementations for cryptographic modernization for tactical radio fielding and provide recommendations to prevent, mitigate, or remediate potential security risks. Track implementation efforts across Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies to support the warfighter and promote a Joint enterprise of information systems and networks. Communicate complex technical requirements to senior government officials and high–ranking military personnel in the form of briefings and technical whitepapers.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity or Information Assurance field
-5+ years of experience with supporting cryptographic and key management efforts in the DoD

-5+ years of experience with working at the OSD or Service staff level

-Experience with developing and presenting complex technical information for technical and non–technical audiences, including DoD leadership both orally and in writing
-Experience in working with Tactical Radios, KMI, or tactical data links

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoDI 8570.01_M Compliant IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-MA or MS degree

-CISSP Certification
