Cybersecurity Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Serve as part of an integrated team of system security engineers and Cybersecurity experts. Consult and apply system security engineering expertise with clients on Cybersecurity in computing environments for system Cybersecurity strategy, the Cybersecurity design process, Cybersecurity requirements, engineering life cycle, system integration, Cybersecurity risk management, Cybersecurity test and evaluation, and business process for Cybersecurity engineering. Act as leader on large programs and projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications

-7+ years of experience with Cybersecurity engineering

-Experience with the design, development, implementation, evaluation, or integration of Cybersecurity architectures, systems, or system components

-Experience with Cybersecurity planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management

-Experience with Architecture Frameworks and Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) standards

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity policy, procedures, and best practices

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Knowledge of DoD architecture frameworks, including DoDAF

-Ability to brief technical topics to non-technical staff

-Ability to gather requirements from project teams and determine priorities

-Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term tasks

-Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related field

-CISSP or GIAC Certification
