Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure the protection of proprietary or confidential data and systems. Provide technical engineering services to support integrated security systems and solutions. Interface with the client during the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Configure and validate secure complex systems and test security products and systems to detect security weaknesses. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Navy C4ISR work
-Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and CYBERSAFE implementation of IATA standards
-Knowledge of the DoD acquisitions process, including Cybersecurity milestones and events and DoD Cybersecurity T&E phases
-Knowledge of the Navy's cross-domain solution (CDS) test and approval process
-Ability to perform Cybersecurity systems engineering tasking, including analysis of security requirements development and management, software development, networking protocols, and Cybersecurity risk management
-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

-Current DoDI 8570 IAT Level II Certification or obtain within the first 6 months of hire

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with DoD acquisitions, including the DoD 5000 series preferred
-Experience with the implementation of IA principles, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) special publications, federal regulations, and security standards for DoD and DON

-Top Secret clearance a plus
-BS degree in Mathematics, Technology, Engineering, or Science
