Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a Cyber security subject matter expert for government clients in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Assess program security compliance, support program briefs, and coordinate and compile program security documentation for various programs. Provide A&A and Cyber security support, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD IT, applying and assessing compliance with security technical implementation guides (STIGs), configuring, running, and reviewing automated scans, performing security test and evaluation (ST&E), vulnerability assessments, and computer security responses, and providing input to RMF packages. Interact with clients to perform technical audits. Brief client leadership on technical vulnerabilities in support of the government client, and prepare brief slides and summaries of findings analyses.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with Cyber security engineering

-Experience with Retina, Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, STIGs, hardening systems, and applying IA controls

-Active Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-8140 IAM or IAT II certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Risk Management Framework

-BA or BS degree in CS, Cyber security, Information Assurance, or IT


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
