Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Provide Cybersecurity and privacy analysis and consulting throughout the security assessment and compliance lifecycle process. Maintain responsibility for planning and continuous monitoring of Cybersecurity and privacy policies, programs, compliance artifacts, and standards in support of government and industry security compliance, systems accreditation, and management. Maintain client weekly highlights for leadership, including consolidation of status across the client portfolio. Manage Cybersecurity artifact repository management, including documents, policies, and POAMs. Assess, develop, and provide recommendations for Cybersecurity SOP development, templates, and business rules. Coordinate client meetings, document workflow, including technical document comment adjudication, meeting minute recording, and coordinating inter–departmental communication on Cybersecurity issues. Support the client in Accreditation and Assessment (A&A) portfolio management in eMASS.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, DBS systems, NIST 800–53 controls, and RMF and DIACAP

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity policies and regulations

-Knowledge of Navy shipboard and submarine systems and DoD acquisition programs

-Ability to work independently to resolve issues while reporting into a larger team framework

-Secret clearance

-IAM Level I Certification, including CAP, GSLC, or Security+ CE

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of platform IT requirements

-BA or BS degree
