Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Serve in a high visibility client-facing role providing Cybersecurity strategic system engineering, vulnerability analysis, and project planning support through day-to-day coordination and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate Cyber vulnerability assessments for major DoD systems and analyze results to discover trends. Configure and validate secure complex systems and test security products and systems to detect security weaknesses. Analyze mission and intelligence sources to develop complete Cyber risk postures for multiple systems. Provide work leadership to junior employees.


Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with Cybersecurity or information assurance in a DoD environment, including Air Force weapon systems

-Ability to provide strategic guidance to programs undergoing Cybersecurity reviews, including the generation of security artifacts, such as security plans, POA&M, and security CONOPS

-Ability to organize large data sets and analyze and assess varying inputs to derive engineering or programmatic conclusions

-Ability to demonstrate task and staff leadership

-Ability to present at an executive level

-Ability to travel within the continental US approximately 25-50% of the time required

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree required


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and applicable regulations, including DoDI 8500, DoDI 8510, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53 and 53A, NIST SP 800-30, and CNSSI 1253

-Knowledge of the US Air Force domain a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-DoD 8570 Compliant IAM-II Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
