Cybersecurity Engineer

Key Role:

Participate in designing, engineering, integrating, implementing, testing, deploying, maintaining, reviewing, and administering the infrastructure, hardware, and software that are required to manage the security and risk posture of the network and resources effectively under general supervision. Assist with applying the systems engineering life cycle to translate strategic Cyber objectives, technology, and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions, as needed. Assist with selecting and applying processes and methodologies to meet Cyber performance objectives, as needed. Assist with configuring Cyber systems to meet user requirements. Support the acquisition of hardware and software, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Cybersecurity tools and principles

-Ability to develop technical reports and deliver technical presentations to customers
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Ability to obtain a Security+ or IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-MA or MS degree in a technical field

-Security+ Certification
