Cybersecurity Engineer

Key Role:

Serve as a Cybersecurity engineer providing technical and programmatic support to key client programs and functions. Drive the implementation of the client Cyber mission assurance plan, Cyber operations policy, and procedure development, strategic and operational planning, process improvement, and research and development of engineering efforts across the client space. Engage in Cybersecurity engineering efforts establishing the client as a resilient Cyber enterprise that can combat daily Cyber-attacks across the enterprise. Develop and analyze Cyber operations requirements and provide support in the assessment, evaluation, and testing of existing and emerging technologies, systems, and capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with information systems, program integration, Cybersecurity and system architectures, Cybersecurity design, and engineering analysis

-Experience with certificate management processes and leading practices

-Experience with network change reviews, feedback, and approvals, including firewall rule changes and IP address whitelisting

-Experience with tuning and improving overall e-mail security, from the Symantec gateway on the inbound side to Outlook from an end-user perspective

-Experience with IDS/IPS administration and analysis

-Experience with Tenable administration and analysis

-Experience with security systems integration visualization

-Ability to display strong leadership and QA associated with hardware and software asset discovery and management

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree

-CISSP Certification
