Cybersecurity IA Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Provide leadership and management of Cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) programs for an AF client in a 24/7/365 operational environment. Analyze IA metrics, identify trends and emerging technologies, threats, mission requirements, and drive briefings to senior leadership. Create services and solutions to implement and conduct Cybersecurity operations, including ID management, ID authentication, threat analyses, and certification and accreditation documentation. Maintain the 614 ACOMS COMSEC, EMSEC, and COMPUSEC programs and required associated documentation. Achieve standardized, PKI, PK supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification, and authentication. Remediate all unauthorized disclosures of classified information, perform reviews of audit logs, conduct vulnerability scans, and monitor and report compliance in accordance with all applicable guidance. This position is located at Vandenberg AFB, CA.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Cybersecurity information assurance in a DoD environment

-Experience with DoD Cybersecurity compliance and certification processes and governing regulations

-Experience with building, modifying, and managing DIACAP and RMF packages for IA/Cyber certification

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-CISSP Certification


Additional Qualifications

-Experience with DoD Dir 8500.01 Cybersecurity, DoDI 8500.02 IA Implementation, and DoDI 8581.01 IA Policy for Space Systems

-Experience with ICD 503 Intelligence Community Information Technology System Security Risk Management

-Experience with DoDI 8510.01 IA Risk Management Framework, AFMAN 33-282 Computer Security, NIST, and FISMA

-Experience with performing vulnerability assessments, interpretation, and remediation

-Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
