Cybersecurity Network Engineer

Key Role:
Work as part of a team of PKI engineers supporting large-scale PKI implementations, including the DoD PKI program. Design, develop, and manage various PKI commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products, including Red Hat Certificate System or Microsoft CA products. Secure the products in accordance with DoD guidelines and industry best practices for system build configuration. Apply knowledge of general information assurance and Microsoft and Linux. Demonstrate solutions and create technical documentation and system administration and troubleshooting.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with configuring Cisco routers and switches

-2+ years of experience with designing and implementing IP networks

-2+ years of experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows, UNIX, and Linux

-2+ years of experience with configuring Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASAs) as VPN concentrators and firewalls

-Experience with designing, deploying, managing, and configuring of enterprise load balancing solutions using technologies from F5

-Experience with developing and implement F5 rules for routing connections

-Ability to work with little direction or supervision

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Security, or Information Systems

-DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+, CASP, CISSP, or CISM

Additional Qualifications:

-1 year of experience with encryption standards, including public key infrastructure (PKI)

-Experience in deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise traffic load-balancing solutions using F5 products

-Experience with implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

-Knowledge of networking concepts and analysis tools and operating systems, software, and security controls

-Ability to perform independent research and report on findings

-Ability to apply originality and creativity in problem solving

-Ability to be a self-starter, quick learner, and detail oriented

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
