Cybersecurity Operations Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Analyze and define security requirements for enterprise multi-level network architectures. Analyze system level security documentation and policies. Apply knowledge of governance requirements and risk mitigation strategies to establish secure solutions. Perform risk and vulnerability analyses, including risk assessment processes and procedures on operational networks. Perform analysis and design of security solutions and features to meet AISR enterprise infrastructures. Leverage knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to obtain network system accreditations. Support advanced operational projects, including operations for a data center or network operations center.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with validation and verification, security test, and evaluation of IA controls

-Experience with generating vulnerability reports in support of Cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigations

-Experience with Cybersecurity, IA and accreditation support, and DIACAP

-Experience with developing and presenting technical information and presentations to non–technical audiences and clients

-Knowledge of DoDI 8500.01 Cybersecurity, DoD 8510.01Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD IT, DoD 8500.2 - Information Assurance Implementation 44 U.S.C. § 3541, et seq., Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2000, DoDD 5200.1, and DoD Information Security Program

-Knowledge of DoD and intelligence community IA and security laws, regulations, and policies, including mandates

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with AISR data transport communications architectures

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in Engineering or a technical field preferred


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
