Cybersecurity PKI Application Developer, Mid

Key Role:
Work as part of a team of PKI engineers and developers supporting large-scale PKI implementations, including the DoD PKI program. Design, develop, and manage various PKI commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, including Red Hat Certificate System or Microsoft CA products. Secure the products in accordance with DoD guidelines and industry best practices for system build configuration. Apply knowledge of general information assurance and Microsoft and Linux. Demonstrate solutions and create technical documentation and system administration and troubleshooting.


Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with developing computer programs using C, C++, Objective C, Python, and Java
-2+ years of experience with developing applications for PKI using advanced technologies, including Internet protocols or Web-based technology
-2+ years of experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows, UNIX, Linux, and Web-based systems
-2+ years of experience with Information Assurance or Cybersecurity
-1+ years of experience with using Red Hat Satellite
-Experience with RedHat Certificate System (RHCS) and directory server (DS)
-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering
-DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+, CASP, CISSP, or CISM


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with MySQL and SQL Server
-Experience with building Red Hat or Microsoft Certification Authorities (CAs)
-Experience with configuring servers and applications to work with PKI
-Experience with systems engineering and integration
-Experience with implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
-Knowledge of networking concepts and analysis tools and operating systems, software, and security controls
-Knowledge of PKI-based products, including Web servers and certification authorities
-Knowledge of common PKI-based protocols, including SSL/TLS, HTTP, and LDAP
-Ability to perform independent research and report on findings
-Ability to apply originality and creativity in problem solving
-Ability to be detail oriented, a self-starter, and a quick learner
-Ability to comprehend and apply system security engineering principles
-Ability to work with little direction or supervision
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Top Secret clearance preferred
