Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support a special security office team in conducting Automated Information System (AIS) self-inspections and provide security coordination and review of all system work plans. Ensure AIS and network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices. Assist with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair and manage and ensure requirements are fulfilled for media control, virus scanning, hardware and software control, and user accounts. Maintain databases for tracking various network components and act as an advocate for all disciplines within the security program while ensuring that business needs are met. Ensure all systems security procedures are being followed and audit files are being maintained and reviewed in accordance with multiple client requirements. Communicate information effectively to various audiences through both oral and written communication. Interact with internal and external customers or government security officials to perform security duties, address routine information security matters, and provide reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems, as required. This position is located in Rome, NY.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

-Experience with security policy and manuals and the appropriate DCIDs, ICD 503, and other guiding policy documents

-Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-AS degree or 5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity

-DoD 8570 IAM or IAT II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and ArcSight Logger

-Knowledge of Xacta in a professional work environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills

-Ability to complete XACTA training within 6 months of hire
