Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance Analyst

Key Role:

Support the Air Force's operational level Cyber command and control (C2) center as a strategy plans subject matter expert (SME), by providing expertise in operational level planning and processes. Develop and maintain responsibility for the operational-level, long-range Joint Cyber strategy planning products in support of the 624th Operations Center. Maintain responsibility for the development and articulation of operational-level guidance in the Cyberspace Operations Plan (CyOP) and the Cyberspace Operations Directive (CyOD) and propose branch and sequel plans to commanders. Maintain responsibility for analyzing and articulating the transition from strategic-level plans to tactical-level tasks, including culmination in detailed guidance in the CyOD. Produce graphical decision support products, including course of action depictions, apportionment recommendations, and operational assessment slides to support interaction with the 24 AF staff and other 624 OC divisions.

Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with strategy planning tools and templates or models use in providing commander’s guidance

-2 years of experience as an operational-level planner at an AOC or Functional OC
-Experience in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in the development of strategy division products, such as AOD or equivalent, COA briefs, or operations assessment products
-Knowledge of Joint planning processes, component-level planning processes, development of the Air or Cyber Operations Directive, including AOD and CyOD, coordination of kinetic and non-kinetic effects, operational assessment processes, and how these are used to support real-world operations
-Ability to consistently prepare clear, concise, and visually enticing communication documents for senior leaders
-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-5 years of experience as an operational-level planner in an AOC, Joint operations center, or MAJCOM staff

-Experience with Numbered Air Force or MAJCOM staff, preferred
-MA or MS degree preferred
-DoD 8570 and DoD 8140 Certification
