Cybersecurity Policy and Governance Analyst, Senior

Key Role:  

Serve as a senior Cybersecurity risk analyst and subject matter expert to a senior DoD client with a focus on Cybersecurity risk management and governance, including the integration of Cyber disciplines, such as mission assurance, supply chain risk management, and non-traditional IT Cybersecurity, such as industrial control system Cybersecurity (ICS), protection of defense critical infrastructure, weapons system Cyber, and Cybersecurity of Internet of Things (IoT). Analyze the development of strategy, policy, governance, and implementation guidance recommendations to more closely integrate Cybersecurity disciplines to enable a holistic risk management approach for the DoD. Work closely with Defense and military stakeholders to ensure approaches, constraints, and perspectives are fully comprended and considered in risk management and policy decisions. Help track implementation efforts across Combatant Commands, services, and agencies to support the warfighter and promote a Joint enterprise of information systems and networks. Communicate policy and technical requirements to senior government officials and high-ranking military personnel in the form of briefings and whitepapers.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity or information assurance field
-5+ years of experience in supporting Cybersecurity risk management efforts within the DoD

-4+ years of experience with working at the Defense or Service staff level

-4+ years of experience in developing Cybersecurity or IT policy and guidance
-Experience with developing and presenting complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences and DoD leadership
-Knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity policy and governance
-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

-DoDI 8570-compliant certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of DoD policy around non-traditional IT Cybersecurity, including weapons systems, IoT, and control systems or supply chain risk management

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-CISSP or CISM Certification preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
