Cybersecurity SME

Key Role:

Provide analytical support for projects and activities in the implementation of Cybersecurity and information assurance investments. Support team leads in strategy development to update and improve processes and plans across functional areas to help execute the organizations mission and tasks. Collect project and planning information, and provide recommendations and report of findings or other related documentation. Provide on-site support for Cybersecurity and Computer Network Defense (CND) program management, readiness and analytics for Naval client. Support duties and activities, including assisting the government with activities that fully automate, integrate, manage, control, and document the CND program. Conduct project planning and execution, including task planning milestones and timelines, coordination of activities across internal and external stakeholders, executive briefings and supporting documentation. Support the implementation of quality management processes to ensure standardization, consistent alignment of all work products and projects, and assist with executive level program briefs, and ensure conformance of all work products with existing DoD and DoN Computer network defense documentation policies and standards are applicable.  

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity and CND in a DoD environment
-Experience with governance, policy and process development and implementation

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Ability to interact well in cross functional team meetings and professional environments

-Ability to interface with internal and external clients

-Ability to coordinate meetings, and working groups and site visits

-Ability to show initiative, flexibility and

-Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven tasks and projects

-Ability to provide timely reports on projects status and other systems administration work

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working on Headquarters or Navy Type Command (TYCOM) staff

-Experience with Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM)

-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance preferred

-BA or BS degree in IT, Technology or Business preferred

-ITIL v3 Foundations
