Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer/Architect Lead

Key Role:

Provide Cybersecurity engineering and advisory services to organizations to manage, design, and implement security practices, processes, and technologies to mitigate the risks arising from the use, process, storage, and transmission of information used in industrial infrastructures and organizations, from a people, process, and technology perspective. Identify potential security and vulnerability risks to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and all other Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) process control networks and industrial processes and advise on how to address or reduce the risks to those systems and processes. Provide solutions compliant with applicable security standards with security strategy, architecture, and various technologies. Conduct ICS and SCADA risk and vulnerability assessments and collect and analyze business, operational, and functional requirements. Research and analyze emerging technologies and design and build architectures and solutions to enable secure implementation of the latest industrial Cyber technologies. Develop and execute certification and assurance testing plans to validate the security of the automation systems and process control networks. Assess, design, implement, and manage industrial Cybersecurity workforce development programs, workshops, trainings, and awareness activities.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, including risk management, vulnerability assessments, security assessments, strategy and program development, network architecture designs, and monitoring solutions

-Experience with Cybersecurity standards and best practices and how to integrate them

-Experience with evaluating security vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing remediation

-Ability to create Cybersecurity documentation, including security policies, plans, and procedures

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with various vendors and types of ICS and SCADA equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and network protocols

-Experience with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800 82, or other industrial control regulations

-Ability to analyze and suggest recommended improvements to the industrial control system programs and systems to meet industry standards and best practices

-Possession of excellent research and analytical skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree
