Cybersecurity Strategic Planner and Developer

Key Role:
Apply expertise in Cyber strategy and project management for information security to defining an organization’s direction via standard operating procedures (SOPs) to suggest changes in policy to support new initiatives or required changes. Conduct project management administration duties, including maintaining an Integrated Management Schedule (IMS) and overseeing weekly and monthly reporting requirements. Review schedules and maintain a deliverable tracking list. Research, develop, and recommend solutions for a project management effort centered on improving customer advocacy and standardizing processes for an enterprise-wide US Navy Cybersecurity effort. Provide analysis and implementation support to the strategic planning, design, development, and operations required to transition people, processes, and technology. Work independently or as a member of a matrixed team.  

Basic Qualifications: 

-5+ years of experience with project management

-2+ years of experience with developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule (IMS) via the Microsoft Project Management tool 

-Experience with developing and implementing SOPs

-Knowledge of applicable Navy systems, networks, and IT infrastructure, including the Navy Marine Corps Internet (NMCI), Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET), IT-21 or Afloat networks, Joint systems, and Platform IT, such as Navy Control Systems and weapons platforms 

-Knowledge of Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) policy and guidelines 

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Information Systems, IT Management, or Business Administration

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with Navy organizations 

-Experience with providing guidance to Navy programs regarding vulnerability remediation and determination of risk posture 

-Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 

-ITIL v3 Foundations Certification 

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
