Cybersecurity Strategist, Lead

Key Role:

Lead multiple teams in Cybersecurity related to technical architecture, systems and network security, security program development, change management, organization assessment and design, human capital, strategic planning, talent management, and general management consulting to government and commercial clients. Work closely with clients to solve key Cybersecurity strategy and workforce challenges. Synthesize and analyze complex information and work with the broader team to develop high-quality interim and final deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Assist with building and growing existing Cybersecurity offerings and delivering client engagements, including marketing and proposal development, delivery and execution, and working in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Experience in the Cybersecurity field, including conducting security and risk assessments and developing mitigations

-Experience in developing Cybersecurity strategies, plans, and roadmaps to solve organizational level security problems

-Knowledge of how to capture new trends in technology and Cybersecurity and translate into capabilities and go to market strategies

-Knowledge of network fundamentals, including OSI model and TCP/IP protocol suite

-Knowledge of scripting languages and data extraction techniques

-Knowledge of databases and their role in aiding in analysis

-Ability to be self-motivated and multi-task with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets

-Ability to analyze data and produce high quality analytical reports

Additional Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity consulting, including development and implementation of penetration testing, risk assessment, change management, organizational assessment and design, human capital, strategic planning, and Cybersecurity program management and implementation

-Experience in two or more sectors of health, financial services, government, and energy sectors

-Experience in leading Cybersecurity projects and program

-Experience with data analysis, tools, and techniques

-Experience with reading and implementing results from vulnerability scanning tools

-Experience with the design, implementation, and operations of Firewalls, IDS, IPS, HIPS, SIEM, and associated management tools

-Experience with developing alerts and setting policies within IDS, IPS, and SIEM systems

-Experience with packet analysis and the associated tools, including Wireshark and Ethereal

-Knowledge of standard network protocols and ports

-Knowledge of incident handling procedures from initial alert and reporting to mitigation and ticket closeout

-Possession of excellent time management and organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Ability to develop publications, conference proceedings, and marketing

-Ability to research and present findings on newly discovered network threats, and articulate the degree of risk represent to network security

-BS degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or Data Science; MS degree in Business or MBA, Cybersecurity, CS, Engineering, or a related field a plus

-Multiple Cybersecurity Certifications, including Security+, CEH, Cybersecurity Certifications, such as GSLC, CAP, CISM, CISSP, CEH, or CCSP
