Cybersecurity Systems Administrator

Key Role:
Participate in designing, engineering, integrating, implementing, testing, deploying, maintaining, reviewing, and administering the infrastructure, hardware, and software required to manage the security and risk posture of network and resources, effectively. Administer security systems and tools, including ensuring the protection of proprietary and confidential data. Provide technical engineering services for the support of integrated security systems and solutions. Provide Tier I support for user requests, questions, or issues and function as subject matter expert (SME) for multiple organizations. Perform system upgrades and educate new users, as necessary. Configure and validate system security and evaluate security products to identify weaknesses. Conduct audits to ensure systems are being operated in accordance with defined policies and procedures, including respond to client requests for information.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with IT System Administration or Cybersecurity

-1 year of experience as a system or tool administrator, including working to resolve user issues, and ensuring tools are fully operational

-Experience with Unix and Linux systems

-Ability to work shift in a 7x24x365 environment

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II, including Security+ and CE Certifications

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting DoD clients

-Experience with DoD policies, procedures, and protocols

-Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Ability to implement Standard Operating Procedures

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
