Data Analyst, Mid

Key Role:
Work in a fast-paced, challenging work environment supporting clients within an environmental science division. Provide data management in a team environment, including data entry, analysis, and quality, technical assistance, and data reporting support using Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and federal programmatic applications and databases. Field inquiries from a variety of clients and research and provide resolution or follow-up within the project specific timeframe. Provide direct troubleshooting and training support to clients in the use of EPA-specific databases in an efficient, time effective manner to accommodate client needs and requests. Analyze the development and publishing of training materials for EPA applications and databases, including frequently asked questions, quick reference guides, and training guides. This position is located in Lenexa, KS.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with data management

-1+ years of experience with using Excel

-1+ years of experience in a client or customer-facing role

-Knowledge of data analysis, including computer technology

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with project management tools

-Experience with business intelligence and data reporting tools

-Experience with developing client deliverables

-Knowledge of EPA programs

-Knowledge of Oracle relational databases

-Ability to be adaptable and self-motivated, including working in a collaborative, dispersed team environment

-Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking, presentation, client service, time management, and problem solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
