Data Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support research tasks, including data collection, manipulation, and presentation, literature search, and interviewing. Compile reference and statistical data into standard formats and accomplish assignments with minimal supervision and guidance based on general directions. Apply knowledge of standard research techniques, statistical analysis, and compilation of data. Select, analyze, and present data and information in written, oral, or graphical form. Exhibit knowledge of commonly used PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Analyze and develop data analytics models and designs to support the organization's information needs. Apply basic data analytics principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools and processes

-1+ years of experience with the analysis or support of data IT systems or applications

-Experience in working with data tool sets, including data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, 3NF, and dimensional models and modeling and profiling tools

-Experience with running technical interchange meetings (TIMs)

-Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and SharePoint

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with querying databases programmatically using scripting languages

-Experience with translating design mock-ups and prototypes into application designs

-Experience with developing rich report visualizations

-Experience with supporting United States Air Force business information system projects

-Experience with the Air Force Domain

-Experience with data governance software and tool kits

-Knowledge of CSS and JavaScript frameworks

-Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

-Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Secret clearance

-MS degree in Operations Research, CS, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering
