Data Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Design, model, document, and guide the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for complex applications. Analyze the needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems and develop technical, structural, and organizational specifications. Create standards or do modeling to monitor and enhance capacity and performance, as needed. Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications. Apply capability knowledge to excelling at client delivery, including developing expertise in a specific area and will taking a leadership role in generating intellectual capital in order to help the firm grow its business. Develop relationships with clients, leverage knowledge and trusted advice when interacting directly with senior-level clients, develop competency in project and financial management, and be more involved in managing teams and formulating business strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with planning for the transition of the development or production environment to new technology

-Experience with data management and data concepts, including OLTPs, Data Warehouses, ETL tools, SQL, and PL/SQL

-Experience as a database developer within a secure environment

-Experience in working with stakeholders to establish system and data interfaces to new COTS product

-Ability to show flexibility, initiative, and innovation when dealing with ambiguous and fast–paced situations

-Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience alike to achieve buy-in on IT solutions

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in the AWS environment

-Experience with recruiting technology and associated reporting tools and dashboards for the visualization of recruiting metrics

-Experience with IT architectures and systems in a secure environment

-Knowledge of data architecture principles and strategies and the development lifecycle

-BA or BS degree preferred
