Data Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Support the design, development, and implementation of all data initiatives. Lead the enterprise information management strategy fostering IT and business collaboration for understanding enterprise data, binding disparate, heterogeneous data sources together in a framework for accessing and sharing of data, developing data trust across the organization, and instituting best practices and standards in data use. Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of an enterprise data platform using data modeling concepts for model extension and ETL programs to transform and ingest data. Develop and enforce the implementation of standards and best practices involved in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models, data architecture design patterns, including EDW, data marts, and data lakes, and ETL. Lead the migration of features and functionality from a legacy data warehouse to a future Business Intelligence and Data warehouse environment.

Basic Qualifications.

-5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, focusing on enterprise architecture

-5+ years of experience with data modelling, including physical and logical designs

-5+ years of experience as aa technical data architect

-5+ years of experience with ETL and OBIEE

-1+ years of experience with Netezza and Informatica

-1+ years of experience with PLSQL

-1+ years of experience with developing a multi-tiered architecture using stored procedures

-Experience with EDW tools and technologies.

-Secret clearance required

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with designing both OLTP and OLAP systems

-Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe

-Experience with SAP Business Objects

-Ability to work independently or collaboratively

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent teamwork and organization skills
