Data Governance Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for architecting and implementing the conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support the enterprise information strategies and business intelligence agenda. Ensure all appropriate DoDAF artifacts, enterprise data management plan, and other documentation are appropriately developed and shared among all stakeholders and develop and implement enterprise data strategies for the management and sharing of data. Maintain responsibility for the integrity and quality of data and information stored and flowing between business applications, the enterprise data warehouse, data marts, and business intelligence applications. Work directly with project teams and solution owners to ensure that new and existing solutions adhere to the architecture standards and that they have controls in place to maintain a high level of data quality. Ensure that the business intelligence team and technology services team are managing and maintaining the data catalog, definitions, standards, governance, and regulations surrounding data in the environment. Work with business leaders to gather and translate business requirements into data and information requirements for custom development efforts and business intelligence efforts. Work with the data analyst to ensure that data provided in reports, dashboards, and other analytical applications are used appropriately and governance rules are adhered to.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with information technology

-2+ years of experience with data architecture

-2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and related technologies

-Experience with Microsoft Azure BI and Analytics Stack, including Azure SQL and related technologies

-Experience in participating and running data management programs

-Experience with enterprise data management technologies, including data warehouses, ETL tools, SQL, and master data management solutions

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Business, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with visualization and reporting technologies

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent presentation skills

-MA or MS degree preferred
