Job Description

Job Number: R0041306

Data Integration Field Engineer

The Challenge:

Do you want to protect the federal government’s Cyber infrastructure from hackers, data breaches, and other compromises? Are you looking for an opportunity to use your technical skills to bridge the gap between your customer and the development team? At the heart of every Cybersecurity effort is the need to balance availability with security. That’s why we need you, a technical leader with communication skills, to keep our development efforts focused on customer needs.

We are looking for a data integration field engineer to join our Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) team. On our team, you’ll help secure the infrastructure of approximately 80% of federal agencies, including NASA, Treasury, and the FAA. You’ll be the customer facing part of our integration team. As the developers build capabilities, you’ll stay closely connected to the customer, helping them understand and tune their new Cybersecurity infrastructure. You’ll see the modernization through by diagnosing and remediating any issues during and after the integration. Your technical experience and communication skills will be vital as you help your customer get the most out of their CDM capabilities. You’ll have plenty of hands-on technical work contributing to customization and tuning of the agency’s Splunk solution. This is a chance to use state-of-the-art Cybersecurity tools and achieve an advanced knowledge of Splunk through training, intensive use, and lab testing. Join us as we improve and protect our nation’s critical infrastructure.

Empower change with us.

You can expect about 10-20% travel within the US, as needed. Some remote work may be available.
