Data Integrity Engineer

Key Role:

Serve as a data quality engineer and evaluate the currency, availability, and accuracy of data as it moves through the diverse architectural layers of the CDM solution. Maintain responsibility for refining a methodology and executing that methodology for assessing data quality in both the CDM lab environment and production deployments. Work with the CDM engineering and deployment teams to support an approach to measuring false-positive and false-negative rates across the Phase 1 CDM capability areas of hardware asset management (HWAM), software asset management (SWAM), vulnerability management (VUL), and configuration settings management (CSM).

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with coding in at least one scripting language, including Splunk

-3+ years of experience with implementing statistical models to assess technological solutions

-Experience with developing, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets

-Experience with conducting root cause analysis of data discrepancies across disparate architectural layers of complex IT solutions and developing action plans to resolve issues

-Knowledge of Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) technologies, network devices that include routers and switches

-Ability to articulate complicated technical topics to non-technical audiences through briefings and technical documentation

-Ability to work across multiple teams of varying levels of technical competence

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communications

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS
