Data Quality Project Manager

Key Role:

Leverage project manager and data analysis expertise to improve the level of data quality used within immigration systems.  Work closely with the customer to comprehend the wide variety of projects that can benefit from improved management and data quality. Comprehend and communicate the big picture issues and the impacts, support plans and solutions for addressing them, and recommend metrics to ensure solutions can be monitored. Identify areas for data quality improvement and work with IT specialists, operational experts, and other project managers to assess and improve the data quality and data effectiveness in those areas. Leverage experience in executing projects, conducting analysis, and recommending process and technologies changes to prevent future quality problems to provide the customer with a deeper comprehension of how to improve the effectiveness of immigration operations.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with project management, data quality and management, data integrity techniques, and metrics development

-Experience in managing projects, including scoping, scheduling, analysis, and stakeholder communication

-Experience in working with organizations with large data sets to improve their data quality and management

-Experience in federal law enforcement or immigration-focused missions

-Experience in client focused and business facing roles

-Experience with developing data analysis reports in Microsoft Excel and Word

-Experience with quantitative and qualitative interpretation of data

-Ability to schedule and sequence work tasks independently

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualification:

-10+ years of experience with project management

-Ability to be enthusiastic about data management

-DHS Suitability or Top Secret clearance a plus

-MA or MS degree is preferred
