Key Role:
Support analysis and evaluation activities across DoD. Complete projects sponsored by a civilian or military analyst and monitored by the office director, ranging from short duration problem solving to lengthy projects to comprehend and analyze extremely large datasets. Apply structured problem solving, operations research techniques, and emerging data science expertise while drawing upon experience in warfare modeling and functional- and mission-level analyses. Conduct research and analysis beforehand in areas with limited effort requiring the development of new techniques or apply techniques to new problems. Support a variety of projects ranging across a collection of skill sets and spanning varied timeframes of weeks, months, or years. Interact regularly with government analysts that are highly skilled in mathematics and expect frequent interaction and updates from the contractor staff.
Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with OSD or Joint Staff analysis or similar strategic-level corporate or governmental analysis expertise
-Experience with statistics, mathematics, data engineering, machine learning, or visualization.
-Active Top Secret clearance
-MA or MS degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, CS, Data Science, Science, Technology, or Engineering
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
